Job Summary:

​

Operate manufacturing equipment, such as blower, water center system, filler, conveyor belt, labeler, palletizer, packer in
addition to operating a forklift and/or hand jack in a fast-paced environment. Also performs machine start up, label
changes, preventative maintenance, and routine checks on production equipment. Responsible for performing visual
quality checks.

Core Job Responsibilities:​

• Able to operate various production equipment (Tech Long blower, filler, water center system, labeler, conveyor
  belt, palletizer, and packer).

• Requires the ability to constantly manipulate small parts and gauges.

• Perform equipment start up and tool changes as necessary.

• Must perform preventative maintenance and routine machine checks.

• Able to perform visual quality checks using a variety of gauges (micrometers, calipers, metric rulers ect.) also check
  fixtures and properly document findings. Keen vision and mental alertness are a must.

• Problem solver – uses thinking and reasoning skills daily.

• Recognize and define problems, collect data, and develop solutions.

• Calculate figures and amounts using whole numbers and decimals.

• Must have the ability to learn basic machining and apply concepts.

• Ability to read and follow work instructions, procedures, and policies.

• Receptive to training and performing functions in multiple areas.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, responsible for proper container disposal.

• Must have the ability to perform at required production standards.

• Must be able to successfully function within a team environment and be able to adapt to change.

• Communicate effectively with others using both oral and written communication skills.

• Other duties as required.

 

Behavioral Requirements:

Must be willing to work overtime on short notice and weekend.

Willingness to learn the water bottling computerized system and to operate a forklift.

QUALIFICATIONS:

 

High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED)

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

​

This position is required to work in a production facility. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is
frequently exposed to work near moving mechanical parts, must follow standards of safety. Constant standing is also
required. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
