Job Summary:

The Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for completion of preventative
maintenance, ensuring efficient operation of machinery and mechanical equipment.

​

Core Job Responsibilities:

 

• Responsible for all tasks related to predictive and preventative maintenance programs, oil and grease equipment.

• Repairs and maintains all machinery and equipment such as conveyors, compressors, pumps, pneumatic and hydraulic systems.

• Follows diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer’s instructions, and engineering specifications while troubleshooting malfunctions.

• Determines changes in dimensional requirements of parts by inspecting used parts, using rulers, calipers, micrometers, and other measuring instruments.

• Controls downtime by informing operational lead and floor supervisors of routine preventive maintenance schedule.

• Maintains equipment, parts, and supply inventories by checking, stocking, and purchasing supplies as need. Also, responsible for ensuring a clean maintenance area.

Behavioral Requirements:

Must be willing to work overtime on short notice and weekend.

QUALIFICATIONS:

​

Associate degree in Mechanical Maintenance or equivalent combination of experience and
education.
Five or more years of mechanical experience in a manufacturing environment, highly desired.
Bottling and blow molding system experience a plus.
 

Salary: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour                                                              Location: Autaugaville, AL
